Grameenphone Wi-Fi Calling
Grameenphone introduces Wi-Fi Calling, also known as VoWiFi (Voice over Wi-Fi), a cutting-edge communication service that allows GP customers to make and receive voice calls and SMS using a Wi-Fi network, even in areas with limited or no cellular coverage.
This service reflects another technological milestone of Grameenphone’s nationwide superior network, ensuring seamless voice connectivity indoors and in coverage-challenged locations.
WiFi Calling works when either or both the caller and the callee are connected through Grameenphone’s partner ISPs’ Wi-Fi networks. With a stable Wi-Fi connection, customers can enjoy HD-quality voice calls – without installing any additional application and without any extra charge.
